Dear Residents

Phew!!! Now I know why the World Cup is held every 4 years. It takes at least that long to recover. From FilmoRealty office sweeps, referee blunders, Oscar award winning dives, Kaita tantrums, vuvuzela blowing cheating to totally unpredictable upsets….I have just about had it. Especially after the Ghana – Uruguay game, I am not sure I want to watch another football game at all. Pressie’s suspension and FIFA’s ban threat are very welcome in my opinion. At least the adrenalin levels will have time to calm down.

The rains are here again, and my sympathies go out to anybody that doesn’t have a 4-wheel drive. One day, Lagos will figure out this drainage problem! The mega puddles one has to swim through every day to work, worsening the already bad roads is really frustrating. This translates to traffic jams comparable only to those in SA at the moment.

Finally, we are on site at MVI. Works has started on Flats 1 - 4, and the new lifts will be on site before the end of the month. While we will do our best to keep inconvenience to a minimum, we plead that you bear with us, especially when we are working in the staircase well and landings. Apart from the apartment upgrades, additional parking is also being provided, so each flat has 2 spaces.

It’s the end of another quarter already! Your accounts will be rendered this week, after which we shall have Tenant Meetings. I hope we shall have the pleasure of your attendance. Like I keep repeating, these meetings provide a great platform for us to understand your issues, and discuss how we can make your stay with us even more pleasurable.
